General Assembly At this meeting held at the beginning of the fiscal year, representatives of member companies gather to approve the election of the board of directors, the yearly budget, the planning of activities, and other major items.
Board of Directors Meeting At this meeting held three times a year under the auspices of the Kyohokai chairman, representatives of member companies discuss and approve major policies.
Executive Round-table Twice a year, representatives of member companies gather to discuss timely issues and deepen understanding of issues affecting the industry by examining existing conditions together with TMC executive officers in promoting mutual communication.
Business Management and Special Interest Lectures In our Business Management Lectures, noted lecturers from both Japan and abroad as well as TMC executive officers are invited to share their insights on topical management issues. The Special Interest Lectures feature expert presentations on topic of interest to Kyohokai member companies. A total of three lectures are generally held each year.
Social Events Kyohokai organizes social events for executive officers from TMC and representatives of Kyohokai member companies to help foster tight-knit relationships and effective communication.
Theme-specific Research Groups Kyohokai solicits participation of its members in theme-specific research activities, the results of which become the basis for recommendations made to other members and TMC. A wide variety of themes on topics such as safety, quality, and human resource development are selected on the basis of TMC procurement policy as well as Kyohokai policies.
Body -and Unit-part Sectional Meetings Kyohokai sponsors a variety of activities for promoting two-way communication between TMC and Kyohokai members in order to develop a common understanding of issues affecting the automotive industry. These activities include regularly scheduled meetings, special interest group activities, and other activities promoting Kyohokai goals.
Interviews with TMC or Kyohokai executive officers The Kyohokai website periodically publishes interviews with executive officers from both TMC and Kyohokai itself, in which the interviewees address a wide range of pertinent issues, including Kyohokai activities, personal interests, and their thoughts on day-to-day business activities.
